Does anybody know if New Zealanders are eligible for any type of refunds when leaving Korea permanently? They never used to be but perhaps this has changed now. I am leaving Korea soon but couldn't find much info on the subject (at least recent info anyway). |

You can get a pension refund if you're leaving permanently, regardless of nationality. That includes Koreans with permanent residencies in other countries who are relocating. |

That is true... to an extent. Brits only get it back if they pay into it for 10 years and are 65 years old. Same with Koreans. So nationality does matter. |

If you're referring to the national pension, thats simply not true. Until their govt signs a pension agreement with Korea, Kiwis dont qualify. |
