Just spent a week teaching 22 medical students from all over Japan how to do case presentations. Great opportunity that just dropped into my lap. Co-taught with a PhD who has been doing this for 15 yrs. with a university in Hawaii. Awaiting word on possible interviews at a med school in Incheon when I am there.

Some things are falling into place after I first posted two months ago.

From what I have seen and recently heard, there appears to be an emphasis in foreign medical schools on learning medical English.

This may be quite a ride!

Thanks again to all of you for your comments and suggestions.

Inha University possibly? They have advertised for such positions as you seek in the past.

No, Gachon.

Hoping that the recent flare-up between North and South is under control via their agreement. Always an issue. Forget the DMZ tour. Shocked

Still awaiting word on solidifying a job offer in Incheon. Had a blast in So Korea in October and would love to go back and continue my exploration and teach. Several options which would require me doing the grunt work with help from some contacts I made while there. Two months in spring and fall would be ideal.

I continue teaching ESL med students and physicians on a volunteer basis, which is fun. Good thing I don't need the salary from teaching right now...
