I am looking to save some space and just use a Korean "yo" in a new smaller apartment. I like a firm sleep anyway. But I can't find them anywhere.
I looked at two local bedding stores and all they have is foam pads. I looked in Home plus and same foam pads. I don't know what is in a real yo, but I don't think it is foam.
Even my Korean friends aren't sure where to get them, they just say go to Dongdaemun. I guess I will if I have to.
Anyway, anyone bought a nice Korean yo? Do you like it? Where did you get it?
Thanks,
Drew

Yes, twice. Yes. Various places, but most recently, at an "이브자리" www.evezary.co.kr/ shop, and what I did was simply walk in, reject the foam padding items on display, and ask for the "cotton" or "면" filler, which they keep stored out of sight in the back, or even off the premises in a separate warehouse. I bought the double size cover of my choice from their wide selection, then bought 2 double size cotton fillers (at 60,000 won each), and crammed them both in there to make a very nice, thick, soft and comfortable futon-style bed for the floor.

I bought one at emart - cost about 100k won, had a bamboo fabric cover and thick, firm padding. slept on it for 6 months in my old place and it was great, actually the best sleep of my life. can't remember the brand but take a look at emart and you might find something good.

I decided to go with a mattress when I say they were only about 130k on gmarket. But now I see there is a chance that my mattress wont fit in the elevator, so I may be back to the yo option. So thanks for the inputs, I love the double option. And good to know they are filled with cotton so I know how to ask for one.
