You can not be arrested in Korea for quitting your job. THAT'S ridiculous. On the other hand you certainly can be cheated out of pay if you DO give notice so it's up to you.

I did it, back home safe and sound.

They advertised my job within an hour or two of me not turning up to work, so I'm sure it won't be long before they're sorted like other people suggested.
