I've been on a D10 the last 6 months to have a leisurely transition between jobs but later decided to head back to a different country for my next work contract. Decided last minute to do a bike trip before I leave though, and I doubt they'd grant me an extension just a few days before my D10 expires.
If I go to Japan for a day and come back on a tourist visa, what happens to my Korean bank account?
I'm under the impression it is linked to my Korean ARC, which will be voided when I leave, right? Will I still be able to access my bank account or should I transfer all my money out of it prior? |

My ARC is several months void & I can access my Nonghyup account online (from another country) no problem. Not contingent on visa status. Its your money.
You're good for now. But for assured access into the future, yeh, transfer it somewhere you'll have ongoing dealings with. Security keys run out after a year & are likely a pain to renew from outside Korea. |
