Great advice before a forecasted rainy weekend. Confused

Rainy weekend my ass.

The weather forecast is for sunny skies the whole next week. Cool

I'll be on my bike cruising down to the sea.

Cool

If it is hotter then the summer of 1997, No thank you!

'97 was nothing. In '98 there was a story of an old man who burst into flames when he mistook a can of Sterno for his supply of Ben Gay. He lathered up his joints, walked outside and BLAMO! Just a little pile of black dust and the man's asbestos shoe lifts he'd held onto for so many years.

Well, in 1997 it was so damn hot that the sterno man was already burning from the inside ...

Of course in 1997 I was down south with no AC ...

I was here that summer, but how can you remember the weather from 7 years ago?

The mosquitoes are already bad, too. There's been packs of them everywhere around school lately. August won't be fun.

My air con and I are planning a pleasant summer together.

I hope the forecast is wrong. I was here in '94 and they said it was the hottest summer in a century. I don't know if that is true, but it was nasty. The most interesting thing that I remember is that in the spring my Korean friends said older men can't wear shorts because it isn't 'polite'. By mid-August every old man on the street had on shorts. A veritable cultural tidal wave.

Yes, I don't care how high the electricity bill is. I'm still using it.

Last summer seemed cool to me...until the end of June, I was wishing I had a pair of jeans.

The peninsula has had a lot of rain recently which is nice for the farmers.

The problem is that predictors usually can't predict s***.

Example, what about that California quake that may happen this summer.

Medium-range weather forecasts(3-6 months) are very accurate. In Australia we would rely on them all the time for my dads farm to decide what to plant.Don't make such a sweeping generalised statement when you have no knowledge of what you are talking about.

Earthquake prediction and weather prediction are completely different and it is a lot harder to predict when an Earthquake will strike.
