Hi All,

I'm having trouble finding a good answer to this, so any thoughts or links to something I may have missed would be appreciated.

At my last teaching gig in Korea, I got paid for both my airfare to and from the country. I know getting airfare to Korea paid upfront or reimbursed is pretty standard, but what about for the ticket home? I'm seeing lots of jobs with just one-way airfare. Should I be snubbing my nose at them, or is that the norm? Or, perhaps, have the norms changed?

Thanks!

Have you tried using the search feature to this forum yet? The topic you raise has been discussed in other threads, and recently even, so read them to find answers to your query. Psst (hint): things have changed.

Yes, I've used the search. I'm either not typing in the correct verbiage to get the results I want, or it's a piece of crap.

I tried using Google as well, and I've gotten mixed results.

Click page 2 of this forum, and see "What's the deal with this one way flight?" thread title for an example.

Yup, I'm an idiot and totally missed that thread. Thanks for pointing it out.
