I am trying to get a job in a public school in Korea and on it they ask about tattoo's. I am going to say I don't have any but I do have one on my right wrist that I can cover with a watch. There is a mandatory medical exam and they have you strip naked. Will they write down the fact that I have a tattoo on my right wrist? |

What medical exam has you strip naked!? Had 3 medical exams in Korea, never had to strip. They better pay you to do that. |

I've also had to take 3 medical exams, I've had to remove my shoes to be weighed and put on a scrub top for the chest x-ray, that's it. I don't know where you got your information (or maybe you're just trolling?), but there's no stripping naked in the medical. |

I read from a post on here that they make you strip down and put on a scrub. My concern is that they will mention my tattoo. |

Being that as I spent 13 years in Korea I took a lot of medicals. Never once did I have to strip... I did have to take off my shirt a few times for the X-ray and they did give me a scrub (which was far too small to wear) but that's it.
Just wear a cheap watch/wristband/bracelet/wrist wrap and cover it up if you are really concerned. |

When you do your medical, you'll be asked to put on a scrub top for the x-ray. In a room, by yourself, no-one will be with you. The medical will check your blood pressure, height, weight, hearing, eyesight, you'll have a chest x-ray to check for TB, a blood test to check for HIV etc, and a urine test to check for drugs. That's it. They won't be looking at your tattoos or making note of them. I have 5 tattoos, at least 2 of which would have been visible during my medicals, and no-one ever mentioned them.
I also have bad scarring on one of my arms from falling through a glass door when I was 10, and so I have to have my blood pressure taken on the other arm - I explained this to them and there was no issue and no note made of it. |

Nobody cares about a tiny tat that you can cover with your watch.
I have multiple tats on both arms and it was never an issue since they are under the shirt.
If you had a bunch of gang tats on your hands and face it might be an issue but again not likely since you are a foreigner and not a Korean.
