Hello everyone...
I'm a new teacher in Korea. I want to know if there is a conference or seminars related to ESL/EFL teaching hosted by any international English organizations?
I want to make some friends and meet teachers like me as well..  |

KOTESOL has their national group (affiliated with TESOL international as well as the other Asian TESOL organizations (like JALT, PELLTA, Thai-TESOL, Asia=-TEFL, etc). They also have SIGs for various subfields of TEFL/TESOL.
Their annual, international conference is held in Oct.

Where are you located? There are different KOTESOL chapters for each region in Korea. As ttompatz mentioned, there is the large international conference (in October). There is also a domestic conference.

Some chapters are much more active than others.

KAMALL - Korean Association of Multimedia Assisted Language Learning

KOTESOL
Which has already been mentioned and is probably the most active in terms of two large conferences per year (national and International), mini-conferences (Seoul and Daejeon-Chungchun), plus all the smaller chapter workshops. |
