Well, maybe it's not a teacher's market any more-in Beijing and Shanghai. What I will say is that the first time I was in Beijing, the salary was 8500 renminbi per month. I was given a small, nice apartment, but of course they were deducting the rent from the salary, but on a monthly basis.
