What kind of opiate could this be?
Is it like heroin?

Hillbilly heroin. Slang for the prescription painkiller Oxycontin.

Prince died amid frantic plans for drug addiction treatment
California doctor specializing in opioid addiction had been called to help with a 'grave medical emergency.'

Prince was found dead one day before he was scheduled to meet with a California doctor in an attempt to kick an addiction to painkillers, an attorney with knowledge of the death investigation said Tuesday.

Bro the opiates that are killing Americans are legal. The dramatic appreciation in deaths due to opiates is due to legal drugs, not illegal. God damn low information liberals please, please just watch tv and go away.

Yes, I know. Hence, it shows what a futile waste the war on drugs is. Didn't think it was that complicated.

When opiate access was loosened the rate of addiction dramatically appreciated. In this case, prohibition was more effective than easy access.

By the way, it was crooked doctors that caused this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGZEvXNqzkM

Yes.
His red blood cells were low.
He had 300 million dollars yet it seemed he cared more for his privacy.

Opiates are dangerous. One would think medical marijuana would be safer.

People must have been swore to secrecy to not talk about the meds or the $40,000 annual bill.

Of course, a critical mass of liberals or lefitsts or whatever you want to call them (Daily Show, or former Daily Show, viewers?) have been harping on Big Pharma for years. Anyone who has spent any time with political people who were also recreational people (Daily Show viewers!) has heard about the hypocrisy of the Drug War with relation to the strength of medications. And this was Bush years grousing.

Speaking of recreational political viewing, Richard Taite on Big Pharma:

I was/am curious as well. Found this LA Times article interesting:

‘YOU WANT A DESCRIPTION OF HELL?’ OXYCONTIN’S 12-HOUR PROBLEM

"But OxyContin’s stunning success masked a fundamental problem: The drug wears off hours early in many people, a Los Angeles Times investigation found. OxyContin is a chemical cousin of heroin, and when it doesn’t last, patients can experience excruciating symptoms of withdrawal, including an intense craving for the drug."

OK it was an overdose, as I thought.
But what kind of painkiller was it?
