I just received an email from my recruiter and he says that my school submitted my documents this morning and immigration said it will take 10 days to get an issuance number.
So, this must mean I get the E2 visa with my graduate diploma then.
Outcome: If you have an equivalent degree (not bachelor of-----------) then you can get an E2 visa if you send a letter from your university stating it is equivalent to a bachelor's degree success |

| The part about a letter indicating "being conferred a degree" means that you don't have the degree parchment in your hand yet, but you have completed your degree and will have it on such and such a date. |
