So you mean $300k then? Mind you, you need enough to buy the business and survive until it starts making money so I guess that figure is about right. $100k is probably not much nowadays if the rents of commercial buildings in Korea are expensive. If someone wanted to open a business, I wonder if they could have a partner or co-investor in that $300,000k. Or is it for sole investors only? |

Just you need $300K alone to qualify for the investment visa. |

There are many legalities in opening a hagwon. It's not as simple as getting your GF to open a bank account. |

Guy isn't even in Korea yet. Sure, let him have a GF open an account and put a business in her name using all his money. Smart move. |

I can't figure out why everyone is feeding this troll. With his first few posts, I thought he might actually need help. Then the 'ole hound started to get cocky and arrogant. Then he just started straight up trollin'. I thought it was amusing at first, but now I'm just bored with it. |

He'll get here. Cut him some slack, please. Yes, he'll be a bit late likely, but he'll get here.

As far as the business visa goes, I would have to have a word with the godparents to see if they can put the money up. They own a PLC in the UK It's quite difficult to get much however.
as far as the current employment contract goes, I don't quite know what you mean but I've sent my passport for the visa now for the 2nd time and I've been in contact with the other teachers about what I'll be teaching which is general conversational English topics and IELTS. So I am preparing some lessons ready for the off. |
