Isolated? I know others in Jeollanamdo who would die to be placed in Gwangju! Isolated? That's truly is unbelievable! Good luck with the new job prospects though!

Thanks for the frank description. I have thought of applying to teach at Seoul English Village-Suyu Campus. I am not sure if I will choose it. I don't get the impression that you are ranting-you are are trying to give an unbiased picture of the job.
But I would like to ask how much time people get off? Is it a 5 day week or a 6 day week?

It was a comparatively sub-par place to work even before the changes for the worse. Absolutely zero reason to even consider working for them now. Zero.

I was invited to apply for an English Village job but when I looked at the criteria, you have to live in a dormitory on the English Village and they have lots of "rules"what you can and can't do. So I thought "F this" and didn't bother applying in the end.

Remember this in Korea and maybe Asia... you are an entertainer first...
I taught at the top unis in Korea and still, I was just an entertainer.
