If you mean the police check to work in Korea then I don't think anyplace does them in 15 minutes and it will take time to get the apostille done as well.
In some countries this process can take MONTHS rather than 15 minutes or even a week.
If you mean a Korean check then the local Gu-police station can do it for you.

It depends on what kind of police check you want. If it's just for work purposes, that one only takes 15 minutes.
A few months ago, I had to get a police check done as part of a sponsor application for my wife's NZ permanent residence visa. That one took considerably longer. Fortunately, the officer at the station really knew his job. I got annoyed with him when he wouldn't do the 15 minute check. He kept insisting that it was not acceptable for the purposes for which I was requesting it and NZ immigration would not accept it.
He was right. That background check is much more extensive, and I think if you're under, or have been under investigation for anything, it will show. It's good when you get it done and it comes out clean.
Tell the officer or whoever at the station specifically what it is for and they will tell you how long it will take. Again, anything related to work purposes, or for internal use only in Korea, is usually only 15 minutes. |
