This is not an ad & I have no connection with the sites' creator but I want to post a shout out for www.allthingsgrammar.com & www.allthingstopics.com
Lots of great usable stuff, best I've found. Check them out. |

Thank you very much for that. I have been struggling with a class and this looks great.
Have a great day my friend. |

It has no role plays. It's just standard stuff and doesn't really have advanced like it says it does. Upper intermediate at most I'd say. The gap fills and other various filling in things are just things you should do with a class for 10-15 mins not a whole hour. It's a boring class otherwise. Some of the discussions look not too bad but there's no help in how to answer the questions so you're going to have to do that first before you hand out the discussion. Anyway, there's no real advanced in there just pre-intermediate and intermediate, stuff. |

Fair point. I should have stipulated the target level: pre- to upper intermediate.
Its a resource, not a course, so of course it doesn't offer everything. Teachers still gotta teach.
But as far as worksheets go, I've yet to discover a better source for smart, well-edited, straightforward practice papers & they print out beautifully. Extensive index of topics. No registration or cost.
I posted in hopes others might find this as helpful as I have. |

Thanks for these links. I haven't had much time to look around, but the reference charts will be useful for my students, as we don't all teach adults. They look good printed and laminated. Thanks Schwa.
On a side note, I have been an English speaker my whole life though I have never studied grammar rules that closely until I started teaching it. The chart on comparatives finally answered some questions I had about how to correctly convert an adjective into a comparative. Before this it was something that I had always just done, without realizing the rules for it. I learn new things every day. |

Yep, am, lots! New school year starts monday & I'm keen to meet my new grade 9 kiddos.
Technically I'm meant to be teaching to US common core standards but realistically I have to do a lot of remedial instruction & practice & the sites linked above are pitched exactly right for my students. Wish I'd had access to this stuff when I was teaching Korean middle/highschoolers.
Kudos to the sites' creator (Robert Dobie). I emailed him my thanks & praise last week & his response sounded genuinely surprised. Seems like a real nice guy. |

I just want to let teachers know that EFL Classroom 2.0 is now totally open and free. http://community.eflclassroom.com
Check it out when you have time. Over 400,000 resources/files available. Open education resources shared by teachers.
MOD EDIT I've helped a lot of Korean teachers over the years and will continue to do so by providing free quality resources.
