I am a 29 year old Canadian and I will be receiving my BA in December in general Education with a Dbl. Minor in Curriculum & Design and Gender Studies.

I am wanting to use a recruiter because I don't want a big hassle looking for a place to live, or dealing with a crappy employer.

Has anyone here used EPIK? or KORVIA? I've been doing lots of research but, it seems that there are agencies that recruit [b][i]for EPIK.

I am a bit nervous and have NO experience teaching kids.
I have taught adults conversational English privately *cough cough *under the table* in Vancouver.

Any advice would be extremely helpful!
Thanks Very Happy

Pick a program and apply. With a degree in education and valid teacher's certification it won't be an issue. Either EPIK direct or Korvia will work the same for you.

Alternatively, look at international schools across east Asia (unless you are set on Korea for some reason). The pay is usually better. Most come with airfare and housing and a substantially better benefits package as well.

Don't waste your B.Ed on EFL. They are not going to worry about pedagogical best practices.
