Re-submitted my form "DO NOT" want to be renewed. I will never know if I could have implemented Wondoo's advice.

Sorry but had to re-start a thread because the dreaded "Invalid session. Please resubmit your message." kept popping up.

Thanks for your support. BDB

Time to start applying elsewhere. You have the degrees and experience.

Loads of university ESL instructors here have worked for multiple schools, some (of the not-so-good-sort) because they got canned everywhere they've worked and finally found a place where they can fly under the radar, and some because they're darn good teachers and we're just working their way up the food chain.

You can do it. Sounds like you fall into the latter group and just got a raw deal.

Are you for real????? If they don't want you, they don't want you. Why do you want to ask them to renew you, when you know they are going to say no? If you say you do not want to renew, then it looks like it was your choice, and maybe the school loved you and you just wanted to try something different. Is this for real?????

The OP stated clearly that he/she DID NOT ask to be renewed, and, in the other thread, mentioned that this is what the university wanted based on evaluations.

Ah, consider this a "learning opportunity" OP. And on your next job, if you work even half as hard at teaching as you do here in creating redundant posts (I know, I know, it was the technology's fault, not yours. Couldn't be your fault) then you should get perfect scores on your evaluations.

Or maybe you're not cut out to be a teacher. I know a lot of people who are horrible teachers, but great at their non-teaching jobs. Good luck!
