Giordano I like. Bean Pole is nice for that "oh it's Polo with the Polo price tag, all the Polo designs, but not actually Polo but has the Polo cache in Korea but no one back in North America has ever seen that brand before and would have no clue you paid $90 for that shirt."
Basic House is good for inexpensive cotton summer wear. MARU and COAX are fun and funky. |

There is one near the Haggye/Junggye stations on the light green line. So it's in the "gye" district.
That said, maybe the poster was talking about another one, but a couple reccies to that place nothing jumped out at me as being a good clothing deal. The Winchels donuts on the top floor does have a very very very cute woman working behind the counter. I went there to buy about 6 dozen donuts once for a class I was doing on Canadian food. I think I both impressed and horrified her.
(My school just happens to be on the one street in Korea that couldn't keep a Dunkin' donuts in business. Go figure.) |

I do shop at Korean stores sometimes and I like the following.....
Giordano
Maru
Radiogarden
I like the sport oriented T-shirts that they sell at the moment.
Womens fashion here however is another story. |

Where can I find thrift stores in Korea that have clothing? How do I identify them? Anyone have any to recommend in Gwangju?
Apparently there is a market on once every three weeks that sells used clothing in Kwangju. I will Pm u the name of it but if you ask your korean teachers i am sure they know of it |
