|
|
After about six months now most of my pants just hang off my a_ss like I'm some joual talkin' ganstah straight outta Outremont . The belt is on the last hole. My hips are the only thing keeping my 33 waist trousers on. If I lose my hips it's not going to be pretty. I'm at the point where I have to run a cost-benefit analysis. Do I buy new pants or do I simply eat choco pies until my waist thickens a belt notch?
I'm not even sure actually how much weight I've lost as I don't have access to a scale here and even if I did it would report my weight in kilograms and I'm too lazy to multiply by 2.2.
What's even weirder is, aside from the fact I do more walking these days (not to mention subway stair climbing), I probably eat more here than I did back in North America. This leads me to believe that maybe in the West they spike our food with extra calories to fatten us up. You almost begin to think maybe David Icke is right. The Western world is run by an advanced guard of space lizards and they're fattening us up for when the mothership slips into the Sol system for a kind of dine-in invasion. |

Maybe you were in better shape than I was and you're crashing. I used to work out a lot but even that didn't seem to keep the fat off. |

Haven't lost any weight or gained any either. A few brain cells have fallen by the wayside however. |

Stress from teaching also can affect one's weight. |

All the late night eating and drinking feasts were compounded by a leg injury that kept me inactive during much of the winter. Then I'd gained over 10 kg.
I've worked that off, and then some, this spring. By the end of the summer sweatfest, I'll be lower than my average in Canada.
It's the carbs from rice that adds weight, all those converted sugars. Would be great if I was weightlifting much. But I prefer running.
Before last year's injury, I was going to run my first official Ironman on Jeju in August, but now I'll only be ready for the marathon in Cheong chun in October. |

Not sure, only been here a month, have had to make another hole in my belt(skinnier, not fatter). Eating less, walking more. Love the mountains/big hills. |

The scales I weigh myself on are all in this fancy metric system so I have to say I've dropped about 10 kilos since coming to Korea. I've been hitting the weights hard and doing a shit load of cardio, hopefully I can get down to 82 kilos or so and finally get that six pack!
It really came off when I stopped drinking 6 or so OB tall boys every other night. |

I've gained about ten kilos!! yes. i use to be a size 28 (jeans) now I can't even fit inot any of the clothing i brought with me.
I went pants shopping this weekend and found I couldn't even fit into a size30!!! I haven't exactly been lazy I've been going to the gym so I have no idea where all this weight is coming from. At this rate they will have to roll me off the plane. |

You can do it man, I dropped 36 kilos while I was there (started out at 146). It feels great doesn't it? |
