Why do Korean stores use sizes 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35 or whatever it is? (Not metric?)

I'm guessing it's inches, as that's the only thing that makes sense. I've only ever seen that at a few shops though. Perhaps it's because of the strong American influence here

Women are sexy, end of story. And taking off a pair of knickers is always a delightful activity ... that's just my two cents worth anyway ...

Don't blame me, I'm a human being

Anybody know if the VS in Myung-dong ever opened? (Or know of a good place to buy something comparable?)

Planning on hunting for it soon. I know you can order on line and they will deliver here. Beware, if you're buying for a k-girl, buy a size smaller than her normal one. From what I understand, Korean bras are scaled to Korean sizes, ergo a B cup here would be an A in North America.

Bonus for the guys- if you order something for your girl, they tend to mail catalogues for the next year or so. .

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for someplace to go shopping locally. (GF flying over from Japan next month.) She can't get much of anything in her size (she's a western girl) there, and was hoping to get some shopping done here.

How about Marks & Spencer? Are they a decent place for VS-type stuff? And does anybody know where any of their stores are? I've tried tracking them down online, but can't seem to come up with the magic combination of words that'll google the info for me.

Now, here's hoping they don't scale to the Korean market too much..

Given a lot of western labels scale to Korean size (eg club monaco), you might still be in a heap o' trouble.

I'll pray for you Smile

VS stuff is too expensive. Maybe I am too cheap, but I'd rather spend my $$ on clothes that people actually can see. I don't know if you can do this in Korea, but VS sends me a free pantie coupon if I order their free catalog. Whenever a new style/stuff comes out, VS sends me this free coupon, and I love it. The only downside is that they don't let me choose any colors except white. chi..... Mad

Christina has been on a tear lately (underwear replacement) (partially due to having 2 other ticked-off Western C+ cup friends) for the same reasons.

I've dated a few C/D cup K-gals over the years; they said pretty much the same thing: K-wear for C+ is pure function. Better to order abroad, or get it while travelling.

C's usually a Triumph/VS/FoH kinda gal. Having no luck here recently, she turned to the internet, and came up with these:

http://www.figleaves.com/us/home.asp 140 brands there to sort through . . .

For those who like VS/Triumph style, here is another:

http://www.lasenza.com/ Canadian based; nice stuff there. Canuckistan gals w/ family @ home may be able to get someone to send them one of their dc cards.

She suggested I post them here, and I refused to do so initially. However, after seeing this thread, it seems appropo. But I'll steer clear of all that discussion-type in the posts above. Twisted Evil

G.
