I have a new found respect for the Korean trains and KTX.

There I was in Daegu waiting for the train to Seoul. Train was supposed to be there at 6:50 and leave at 7:08. It was 7:05; no train.

Ok, I thought, the train is going to be a few minutes late, no big deal.

Train pulls in at 7:07. The Koreas as usual make a mad rush for the train. Out of the train jump the cute little KTX girls in their cute little uniforms and force the crowd back. They rush the people off the train, shouting "bali bali" and then quickly and efficently load up the train.

The train left Daegu station at 7:08 ... right on schedule.

Yes. That is right. The bullet train requires bullet passengers.
