Did anyone else see the ad in the Herald today? We might be seeing Denny's again in Korea someday.......

But will they have breakfast?

Denny's is still here. I saw one recently in Cheongju.

They're just using the logo- they serve Korean food. BTW- next time, let me know, I could've told you some decent places to eat

That's one place I won't be beating a path to. My experiences at Denny's were some of the poorest restaurant experiences that I have had.

Did you notice the three different signs depicted in the ad? Since when does a Franchise use 3 different logos?

How can they just be using the logo when Denny's has not even opened up yet?!?!
The ad in the newspaper said they were looking for investors to start up a Denny's.
I have not seen an American Denny's restaurant in korea yet. Have you?
When they open, I'll be in line! It's all about the Grand Slam breakfast!
I'm just hoping the koreans don't screw it up like other western places they have opened.
Take a look at the Red Lobster over in Kangnam! What a disappointment that was! Not the Canadian Red Lobster but the Red Lobster from the states. It was no where near the same! Anyway, it folded.

Back in 95 there was a Dennys @ the coex where Bennigans now is.

EDIT- I know this for 100% certain as I dated a few girls that worked there and got food hookups all the time then. HA! Thats probably why it folded!! Laughing

There was a Denny's in Myeongdong too.

If Denny's opens, I doubt they will serve breakfasts.

Speaking of breakfast, there is a good article about western breakfast in Seoul in June's Seoul Classified magazine.

I remember the Denny's in Myeongdong. What was funny was the Denny's here had bars.

Maybe when they open we can all go there wearing white sheets over our heads. Denny's...the official resturant of the Klan Very Happy

If you haven't noticed yet, copyright infringement is a national right in Korea.. the restaurant in Cheongju uses the logo illegally of course...

It has suckered in many a waygook...
