Not a pressing issue, but annoying.

Everytime I delete the "Links" folder from my favorites it creates itself again when I restart Explorer or maybe when I restart my computer. Anyway, by the next day it is back, but empty always.

Stupid Microsoft.

Know how to stop this?

Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).
Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar registry subkey.
Double-click the LinksFolderName value.
Clear the value data, then click OK.
Start IE and delete the Links folder from the Favorites menu.

or

Start Windows Explorer.
Move to your user profile area (e.g., C:\documents and settings\john).
Open the Favorites folder.
Right-click the Links folder, then select Properties from the context menu.
Select the Hidden check box, then click OK.
Start IE and delete the Links folder from the Favorites menu.

My registry editor closes by itself after a few seconds when I access it through "run". This seems very bad Shocked .
