Yeah, but full nelsons are illegal... I much prefer the three quarter nelson. That was my signature move for 6 years.

My signature move was the Nelson "Ha- Ha!"

Thanks for the KUDOS guys!

I was a little apprehensive about school yesterday.

Mostly I got some snickers, a lot of HELLO TEACHER with wide eyes! And a few comments about the move I pulled... Laughing

Did I mention that I was wearing a nice skirt and sandals...BAH HA HA HA!

I will mention that the kids were pulling wrestling moves on eachother a little bit more than normal in class...and I felt a little guilty telling them to stop! ha ha ha! Embarassed

because she's some hot chick who fights hogwan crimes with her patented full-nelson while wearing a "a nice skirt and sandals."

You're just some abusive drunk who gets pleasure from making little children cry and bleed.

That has to be one of the funniest thing I have heard in a long time...! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

They would have stopped because you told them too...yes of course. That happens all the time.

A fight in a schooyard in Canada, its snowing, kids going at it.

Teacher walks near: "Stop"

An eerie silence falls over the courtyard as the voice of authority still resonates, all one can hear is the snow falling...the kids standing there frozen by the sheer power of the teachers voice..after all the teacher had told them to stop...

Kids: "Yes Teacher, we apologize for fighting and will never do it again."

There was never another fight at that school....and everyone lived on happy and content. Laughing Laughing

well you are from CANADA! down under where im from..
we fear the teachers!! becuase they do bring out a can of whiparse!!
guess you went to faggot prep school or something! come to my middleschool for a day and see how long you last!!
trust me a fight didnt last soon as the teacher come.. becuase if he caught you he would smack so hard across the head you wished your father was beating you not your teacher!!

WHAT I MEANT BY THE COMMENT BTW!!!!
was language barrier! she could have been screaming her head off for 30minutes at them in English wouldnt of made a difference. but soon as a korean teacher comes and speaks in loud tone korean voice!! ITS OVER!!
understand me now..
P.S. my school was hard knocks.. HOMER sounds like you came from easy street!!

I do say though, I now teach entire middle school classes of boys that look like this Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Had I known that's all it took....my last three month here could have been happy ones!!!! Laughing

I've vowed now to only wear muscle shirts and intimidate the little snots with my G.I. JANE MUSCLES!

BAH HA HA! THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT FELLOW TEACHERS!

Nowadays I teach adults. For most of the four years, on and off, that I've spent in Korea I have only taught adults. However, in 1998 I was farmed out to a middle school to give a conversation lesson once a week. It was horrible. I could NOT control the little monsters. They would run around the room, throw stuff, and just overall ignore me. I remember one day this one little crud kicking around a soccer ball in the back of the room. When I went and took his ball away he kicked me in the privates. Well, I lost it. Within an instant I had the kid on the ground and I was choking him. I mean, I was REALLY choking him. I think I hurt him.

My suggestion to Frog, try and get a job teaching adults before you snap!

oh man... if a kid kicked me in the groin... how the heck did you stop at just choking him? I would have kicked him back.

Shocked One of those Oh Korea Moments! Shocked

There was a fight outside school...and no one was doing anything, since I was the first teacher on the scene...I tried to separate through talking - English of course so I got no results...so after Kid A kicked Kid B in the head 3 times I pulled a Full Nelson out on Kid A. Twisted Evil

I'm a white, female, English teacher....I'm curious to see what today will bring at school...mostly the other kids laughed at me... Very Happy

I would NEVER do this in Canada........ Embarassed

Maybe I should just carry around the Stick with me?!??!?! Surprised

Confused What would you have done???? Confused

I would ask if I could be next.

no word of a lie: my last hagwon job in korea was a kids' school.
one teacher had a particular class with a particular brat. (well, he didn't want to be there more than most of the other kids.)

the teacher would often pull a roll of packing tape out of his desk, and threaten to tape that kid to his chair.
one day, bluff was called, and kid was taped to chair. just for a few minutes, but wow, was the class good after that!!

funniest thing ever. he was our hero.

sadly, brat's mom found out, and hero was chastised, and chaos returned. Sad

kudos on the nelson. Very Happy

Well good luck with your job, I think it just got easier for you because of one you showed that you can take charge and two I think the boy liked the full Nelson by a woman teacher Laughing

I think a response like that only comes from a women teacher giving physical restraint... I think if a male teacher did it we would be in a lot of crap...
