Not sure why so many people think so little of seoul. you can get food 24 hours a day at lg25 or the ten million other places like that. everything is cheap as chips. drinking is a national pastime (i dont like the kimchi on the street in the morning either, but you cant have one without the other!). the public transport is among the best in the world (shame about the other drivers on the road). you can always go to a sauna or something. what else... well if i think of anything else i will write it.

Coming right on the heals of the "garbage dumpling" scandal rocking the nation, prosecutors have disclosed that a firm used Chinese-made kimchi that had passed its expiration date to make instant noodle seasoning, which was then supplied to a famous instant noodle company and highway rest stops.

i think that rome is even dirtier than korea! one of the worlds most over-rated cities in terms of a tourist destination (at least in my own very humble opinion).

Not sure how i constructively i am adding to this topic, but no one else seems to care!

I am also disappointed with shopping. The clothing here would make me look like an old man trying desperately to hold onto my youth. Skid style. Where are the fashion police when you need them?
