In the case of universities in Korea hiring nowadays, what are they usually willing to pick up?

Return Flight to Japan plus hotel?
Return flight only?

I'd just like to know the general consensus.
Cheers.

It probably depends on wether you go to Osaka or Fukoka. If you can do it in day, why would they pay for a hotel?

Kangsan travel in Busan has visa run specials.

190,000 gets you to Fukuoka on the hydrofoil and back, plus a night at a hotel.

Then add to that your visa processing fee and living expenses.

I've seen some schools provide around 350,000 for visa run costs.

The Korean embassies in Japan can turn out the visas in one day? Shocked I wasn't aware of that, I assumed it always took 24 hours? When I taught for the BC they not only paid the ticket but put us up in a three star hotel? Spoiled rotten eh?

So can I assume then that practically all finance at least the plane ticket?
