I have been looking for a digital video camera with an English menu.

I want to buy a Sony DCR-PC300. Is it possible to buy it in Korea with an English Menu and an English manual?

They Sony store guy says no, but I think he might be lazy. I dunno.

Very often, the products sold here are different from the ones that go overseas. They are very, very similar, but no the same. It's possible that there is no English at all.

I bought a Panasonic digital video camera, with no menus in English, nor manuals. Actually, it was all in Japanese (much cheaper that way)...do a bunch of Google-ing and you may find what you are after.

I eventually did a comparison between the model I had and the comparable model from the US, and found them to be almost identical....enough so that the manual for the US version was useful for mine.

So, scour the web for a manual and do the comparison thing. It will probably work out ok...
