I am actually starting to think these aren't so bad (the series of bags stuffed with assorted pills).
Here in Korea they don't have the type of pharmacy where you go in and buy what you want, you go in and describe your symptoms, and they give you something appropriate.
I don't know what the medicines in the pills are, but I'm sure each pill is usually one kind of drug. Usually a NyQuil pill or something has several medicines blended. Today when I went to the pharmacy I watched the guy get pills from various bottles, and package them all up.
It's kind of like a customized pill, and you don't get anything ineffective.
The effectivness clause is dependent on each of the medicines not being useless crap. |

I dont like the idea of this. Call me paranoid, but I dont like taking something I have no idea about. I like western practices so much where they give you a nice sheet with the side effects/dosage/what not to mix with it.. also you can look it up on the internet, because you know what it is called. |

Its like those mix and match packs of mars, snickers.
They are not sure quite what you have so they give you something for every possible symptom, this could be good and bad i suppose.
I have a question.
Why is that they always said here you must take your medicine after your meal whereas in Australia I am told to take it 2 or 3 times a day.
I've been a bit of medication lately and my girlfriend has been freaking out about me not taking my medicine immediatly after my meal.
Does it make any difference when i take it???? |

Most of the pharmacists speak some English, at least they know the names of all of the pills because their text books and resource books were/are largely in English.
Ask them to write down the names (not brand name, but pharmaceutical name) and do a web check to find out more about it.
I have had a few dizzying moments due to those grab-bags of fun. |

It's a good idea to take it with food. I get severely nauseated if I take it on an empty stomach, and that's apparently what happens with most people? I don't always eat three meals a day, though, which makes it difficult. I sometimes wait an hour after I eat and have had no problems doing that. |

I sorta wonder why there aren't more cases of kids getting poisoned on meds. They look like little sherbet lollies I used to get when I was in primary school.. :)

I will definately be asking the pharmacist to make me a list..
as for food.. its cause some are harder on your stomach.. so if they are absorbed with food it is easier on your stomach.. |
