As everyone said, just the monsoon and haze.

In autumn and winter there are some fantastically clear days though when the wind switches to a more northerly direction.

i'm really, really caucasian. my family has a history of melanoma. we're irish/french and really, really white.

i don't have a sunburn.

i love seoul.

I'm fair, from the german side of my family. But the french Canadian side, like most French Canadians going way back, intermarried a lot with the local Indian population. I've got (or I should say had) an Iroquois great grandmother. I think I got her tanning gene. Because I can spend a long time in the sun, get a nice bronze tan, and not burn.

I come from a long line of people (Irish, Finnish, German) who don't tan well.

However I also grew up in an African desert.

So one part of me loves this weather, and another can't stand it.
