Yeah, this board has some problems.

Once, a guy claimed to be holding an "auction" for a case of champagne he said he bought for a ridiculously low price.

Another time, this other guy claimed to be holding a poker game but wasn't.

Hey, RR, is that last post at the MOE message board from you (Ed)?

To quote:

Does the Ministry of Education help foreign professors
get fair and legal treatment in Korean universities?

Please help foreign professors get salaries and benefits.
Please stop Korean university administrators from mistreating
foreign professors. Please stop hurting foreigners.

Foreigners are human beings.

RR, ride that hobbyhorse!! Razz

This is my favorite part of the immigration site: Be a stoolie. Receive no compensation. Don't forget to give us your alien registration number. That way, we can come down on you after we've finished rounding up your ex-friends.

It's only for authorized people.

It's funny that they can't spell correctly on the rest of the computer form. You would think that they would consult a dictionary before pasting something official on the net.

The immigration website Q & A board I always found to be a waste. The Customs Q & A board (used it when first starting my store) was great. They answered my question in perfect English in two days.

I figured this meant 'all information will be held in confidence' -- like all other information held by Korean institutions. Laughing

If only authorized people can submit the information, why have an English version of the form? Another example of efficient web design? Somehow I doubt that the 2 or 3 foreigners who work for the Korean government would need the page...

It is stupid of them, but this is the Korean government we are talking about.

The form asks for a password.
