Hey dude, a Feast for Crows isn't out yet. It was supposed to be out in April, but they pushed it back to August. I saw on yesasia.com that you can preorder it now. They have free shipping to Korea, so log on to their site and get yourself a copy! Very Happy

Can't help you with the rest, though. Good luck.

I am a semi serious mountain biker. I do not have a road bike though. I am live in Busan and ride up kumjong san on a pretty regular basis. I don't smoke or really drink that much either.

I would road bike if I had somewhere to do it safely.

In Busan there are no wide open roads anywhere close to my place.

I think Cheju is biker friendly.

Can't wait for my holiday in Canada. I miss my baby. I think not biking in Korea is giving me some stress. I hate jogging.

Can Lance make it SIX?

According to my US distributor, Feast for Crows was suppose to come out in August. The publisher canceled it. Whatever that means.

Actually, I just searched the publisher's website and their is no reference to it anywhere. I am going to contact my rep at Random House (Bantam Dell is the same thing) and find out what is going on with that book, as it is going to be a big seller.

Just so you know, we always make our books cheaper than that yes... place (at least as soon as I notice it). Let me tell you something else about them. They get their database from an entertainment information company. Not an actual distributor or publisher (at least the bulk of the data). This is why you see the usually ships next to their shipping time. We have a daily stock check that runs with the distributors/publishers. Thus, it takes them a little while to get correct updates of what is going on. Furthermore, when a book goes out of print that does not mean that the book is unavailable (distributors can still have hundreds of copies in their warehouse). But, when you get your data from an entertainment company, they tell you that it is out of print and you don't know if the warehouses have it or not.

It is kind of funny. Amazon, the three major Korean English book sites, and us all purchase our database from the same distributor (yes Amazon does not make their entire database). I have no idea why they get theirs from Muze (the entertainment company).

As soon as I learn something about the book, I will let you guys know.

What's happened with the book is the GRRM simply hasn't finished writing it yet. When he finishes writing it, it will be published.

That's cool and all about the book. yesasia.com had sent me an e-mail saying I could pre-order it, so that's why I shared the info. Went to their site and it still says it's now available for pre-order and is expected to be released in August.

I'm not saying they can't be wrong, I'm just saying that it became available for pre-order a week or so ago and they sent me an e-mail letting me know.

Now that I'm checking on GRRM's website, it says that it won't be released until November or possibly even next year. Well...regardless, none of us will be reading it soon.

Heard back from my rep at Random House. For the Feast of Crows book he said:

"Chris,
1. Publication postponed. No date given."

I love it when I am right. Very Happy
