Some people look like trouble...it is just better to not let them in the club to begin with. Clubs hate to have police show up and ruin the night because some moron was making trouble. Maybe if you are denied entry into a club, then you should look in a mirror and go home and change.

Everyone in the Hollywood basement looks like trouble, including the chicks. I've never been in such a stinking rat-hole of a club in all my life. The OP doesn't know how lucky he was, that he didn't waste an evening in that dump. It's gone now though isn't it? Or changed into something else?

It was a horrible place.

ESL teachers denied entry based on poor educations and lousy jobs. Now that's a story I would read.

Sorry, but this begs the question of why were you there then? I guess you could say that you only went there once, but then how could you say "Everyone in the Hollywood basement looks like trouble, including the chicks." This makes it sound like you were there more than once.

Just the once I assure you, but I have seen those chimp-like patrons as they filter out at kicking-out-time in the morning a few times. It's quite a sight to behold I can tell you.

Its gone now and replaced by Spy club which is supposed to 'upmarket' and is frequented by East European underwear models. It is fairly shit, although they are putting on some good nights now and again with urbanEvents....
Hollywood basement was sleaze-lite. I have seen much more way out places in Hongkong, Tel Aviv and even in Dublin.

Korea does have laws against discrimination...but like 99% of the laws in Korea they are not enforced.
