Planning to visit Guam this summer, but I have the impression that accommodation might be very expensive there...
Does anybody know where's a good place to stay, what sort of prices do they offer, and also what kind of activities can one do there? I know it's probably no Thailand, but want to try somewhere slightly different from the usual southeast asia route. Only planning to stay a week, don't want to stay in a luxury hotel if I can help it. Thanks heaps. |

I would suggest skipping Guam and going to Palau, especially if the direct flight from Seoul to Palau is still available, and I think it is.
Palau offers some of the best diving, snorkeling and beaches in the world and it's only another 35 minutes passed Guam. It's inexpensive (if they still have the direct flight offer) and there are many inexpensive and decent motels/bungalows. Much better experience in my opinion..the kayaking through the Rock Islands is absolutely amazing!
