|
|
| Hello everyone I'm planning to do a working holiday visa in Korea this year. I want to know what sort of jobs I can get with a working holiday visa. I speak no Korean but I do have a TESL cert 4 years teaching experience, with a 3year diploma in media. If I can't teach English is there any other jobs available for me? I am willing to do anything! But is it worth my while to even go to Korea on a WHV? Thanks guys. And another thing I already did a WHV in Japan. |

Not having much luck with this inquiry are you?
It seems to be a seldom-used program, maybe for good reason. You cant teach english with it unless you have the same qualifications required for an E2 visa, & theres very little else in terms of work opportunities here.
I cant speak authoritatively to whether your credentials would work for an E2, but its likely the lack of a BA would trip you up.
If you did come over on a work-study deal & did qualify to teach english here, I suppose you might find temp jobs here & there filling in at hagwons or working in language camps.
Its only available to a handful of nationalities too (you dont say where youre from).
Heres a bit of info I found: http://www.workingholiday.com/old_workingholiday/english/wh/3-1.html |
