I've had 3 recruiters offer me a position at a school. I have been sent 3 contracts (2 exactly the same and 1 very different). I am interested in the school but I don't know which contract is the real one from the school (I have heard that some recruiters rewrite contracts without telling the school). The first contracts have some weird clauses like being able to fire me if 3 parents don't like me or if the whole staff thinks I should be fired. The second contract is straightforward (except for teaching in different locations). How do I find out which contract is real without playing recruiters off each other? Or is this situation just too dodgy and should I leave it? I have no contact information for the school itself.

I would approach the school directly. The contracts from the recruiters sound dodgy. Otherwise tell each of the recruiters you have a different contract from each of them for the same school and ask them which one is real. Personally, I'd say no thank you and expalin why.  |
