Hi,
I just moved to Changwon last week from near Toronto, Canada and am the only foreigner on staff at my school (this is my first time teaching and abroad). While I think my co-workers are great, I would love to meet some other people here in the city, or even close by.
I have been to OB's once so far with a old teacher from my school, but he recently went back to Calgary.
I am really looking for someone to see the sights with and who doesn't mind helping a newbie with a bit of an orientation ^-^
I live in the Daebang Dong area.
My e-mail is [email protected] - please write, I look forward to hearing from you ^-^
I will be able to check my e-mail messages starting this Saturday morning, I have long hours this week so I won't be down to the PC Bang for a little bit. My sincere thanks to all who reply. |

My advice is to head to O'briens on a Friday night as there will be plenty of people there of all ages and nationalities, newbies and oldies.
Also Thursday night isn't bad, there is a pool comp and a bit of a poker club which is good fun. |

Hope you have a good time in Korea. Just remember it's a quixotic place, compared to what you would have probably grown up with. :)
Enjoy your time, and good luck.. :D

Go to E-mart. There are lots of foreigners there, especially on weekends. |
