If you guys are going to trot out the old "western chick = fat and desperate" line (which incidentally it appears you haven't grown bored of), you can at least expect us to fire back with the "Korean girlchild = chestless and immature" routine. Come on now.  |

Not obvious when you only read stuff posted since your last visit and have forgotten what was written before.
Anyway that was the absolute first time I ever mentioned western women in any post at all- and I did it only as a response to your post! |

Okay. Good enough. I was just demythologizing the silly accusation that all Western women are skulking around trying to decapitate the Korean girl "competition" because we're afraid they'll make off with our men.  |

I ALWAYS assume that everyone around me can speak English well enough to understand me (how the heck ELSE could we teach English here???) simply to avoid embarassment.

A few years back, I was chatting with my sister on the subway. Some schoolgirls probably thought we were complete foreigners with no grasp of Korean. Of course, they had a good lay into us, picking us apart. I couldn't stop grinning all the way to the stop.
I didn't have the heart to say something smart in Korean, bless their poor bleeding souls. |

I've noticed if anyone posts anything negative about Korean men, you automatically label it as an act of trolling. I'm starting to suspect this is some psychological defense on your part. You're starting to see these signs in your husband and you're worried. Very worried.

No. How long have you been on this board? It's more along the lines of we know where this thread is headed once some guy mentions anything about Korean men. Like I said in another thread, even the most innocently started thread about K-guys will eventually deteriorate into some mud slinging posturing competition with some of the guys on the board.
I just wanted to step in here and say that, though I know Corproal can take care of herself and probably do it with a bit more flair.  |

What "signs" would you be referring to? Please, if you can't be factual and pleasant in your posts, at least try to occasionally be coherent.
So. What signs am I starting to see in my husband? (You know, I really want you to answer this question because I respect your opinion since you know both of us so well and have seen us interact on a regular basis. Not even our families and friends, who love us dearly, would be so well-qualified to judge our relationship as you, Mindmetoo.) |

Husbands and mates don't need Korean women to stray. If all it takes is a pretty women to make your mate stray ladies they weren't worth having cuz like it or not they were going to stray back home.....Korean or Western men can be pigs....so let's not "blame" the local "talent" because some men can't keep their johnson in their pants.
"Dumpy" Sometimes I feel this way...sometimes I don't depends on the moon actually....nudge nudge wink wink. But I felt this way at home. Do I feel inferior...nope...I have no trouble attracting men ...I am not some super hottie either. Just don't worry about competing for them either! Hmmm? Must be one of them there crazy, army boot wearing, feminazis!
And what I find most amazing is that a post about language turns into "man, don't you western women feel dumpy..ie inferior." Amazing how quick that happens!

Okay, here's something.
Jade, I haven't watched The Late Show since February, but I watched tonight. They had a segment called "What the democrats say, What the Republicans say"
and this particular part I agree with most emphatically philosophically
"The Republicans say marriage is only between a man and a woman, except in the case of 2 very hot chicks".
