first person who makes a vegetarian joke gets a slap... this is pure capitalism here
a pure hippie-style veggie/vegan buffet on par with greens and gourmet in vancouver or something like i've seen in many other cities...
itaewon? i'm sure there's enough foreigner vegetarians that a veggie place would fly.
now where do you get sprouts in seoul? |

| There's already a Taco Bell on base, I reckon a western style chinese restaurant is the way to go. |

Not quite enough incentive to enlist.
Taco Bell was here in Korea in the early 1990s, but folded due to (what I assume was, based on the fact that the stores were nearly always empty) a severe lack of business. |

We have McD's, KFC, Burger King, and if you go to a bowling alley, Wimpy.
Then there are about 2 billion chinese/indian take aways, kebab houses, and fish'n'chip shops. A lot of people who just want a quick snack will go to a bakery and get a pastie, pie or sausage roll.
It's a simple country really. |

You bitch, don't give him my idea. My wife and I are seriously consider a chip wagon fro Itaewon. On vacation we talked a lot with the owners of the best one in our area. My wife even took a ton of pictures. She's a complete addict. I think fresh fries would but kebab boy under.

It's not really though is it? Ho Lee Chow is expensive, the food's pretty average, and you couldn't imaging going there for takeout.
Besides which, if one western style chinese place is doing well, surely there's room for another? |

the thing with Ho Lee Chow is that they tried to take it upscale here. In Canada ( where it's from) it's just a middle of the road Chinese take out- perfect.
Pizza by the slice would do well I think. |

i reckon pizza's the go... but only if its not crap toppings like pizza hut... give me the local pizza store flavours from home...
also fish and chips... or a really bakery with pies and pasties would be cool |
