So I'm doing some summer intensives at my school. And I look around the teachers room that has 40 plus teachers desks and there is not a teacher to be seen. The temptation to go home right now is reallly high... |

If you dont have work that needs doing, go home!
Even the most conservative desk jockeys in my office are coming up with simple excuses to "take a rest" elsewhere on these hot days. My boss is usually a stickler for face-time but encourages me nowadays to go home when not busy. "To keep your health" is his rationale. Its casual season. |

Unfourtantly my summer intensives run 10 to 12 and 1 to 3 rather than 9 to 1 that I signed on for. Apparenlty the teacher last year wanted an hour to prep between classes thus I got stuck with a stupid schedule for this year and it was too late to change it once I found out. |

'Tis the perfect time to steal some pens and stacks of Post-It notes! |

I took a similar situation and spent several hours trying to find a way around the MSN firewall that blocks all hotmail and MSN Messenger stuff.
After much work, I figured out a way to get to the hotmail (regular Proxy comands wouldn't work). My boss was thrilled, because he was always trying to figure out the same.
We're both working on the MSN thing. |

I feel sorry for you lemon girl. Fortunately my school gives me the choice whether I want to teach summer and winter classes. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! was my answer, and will always be my answer. I value my vacation time and head to NZ tomorrow for a few weeks. Hmmm what to do with my 9 weeks over winter.......? |

Go to Pogo or MSN and play some game like Eucher with real live English speaking oponents. It'll keep you alert and offer some form ( ) of companionship for a time.
The comes to me when I think of a couple of poor sports I played against in the past. But even that can be fun. |
