I'm a guy but this one is a no brainer.

Look at the typical GI. Look at the typical ESL teacher.

My guess is that girls prefer muscular, clean shaven guys as opposed to guys with beer guts who have problems with personal hygene.

Probably the only thread where I am going to stick up for GI's but it has to be said.

Ok, I should drink less beer. I know. But I am 10-12 years older than most of the GI's. I'm actually a bit older than a lot of the foreign girls that come here. I see it as more of an age thing than anything else. I'm not really looking to score a 21 year old anyway. Well, maybe for an hour or two.

"I haven't" = a statement of fact.

"But I guess since you guys have ALL seen it and I've never, it must be true" = sarcasm.

I hope you know what sarcasm is. Let me know if you need a definition of that as well. So let's sum up. From the measly above, you leap to: "she accuses people of fabricating stories about Korea"?

P.s. since you don't seem to be getting it, I'll add that I'm certain that there are some Korean men out there right now hitting their wives. I'm just as certain that the same thing is happening in the US, Canada, and in some Eskimo's igloo. So?

I think the only reason why western girls sleep with GI's.. is basically becuase they are easy.... A GI will shagg anything.. so girls will get laid. doesnt matter how they look.. of course they would rather do a teacher.. but a teacher is more likely to reject you.. so take a GI you are 100% getting laid..
haahhahhahha..

Umm- you're assuming three things that simply aren't true here sir:

A) that we are only out for a quick lay- not always true.

B) that if we are, we care what his job is.

C) that teachers are somehow superior to GIs.

A: ummm yes!!

B: ummm NO.. who cares about jobs.

C: ummmm YES!.. of course we are talking about grunts vs an educated teacher.. dont pick on my words,. you know what im saying!

Yes, but is it occuring on the street in front of other people and do the police refuse to do anything about it? That's Korea for ya.

DUDE! you need to stop hanging out at seoul pub with the scum of the ESL scene!! the real teachers dont go there.. thats a bar for BARFLIES!
over weight, beer gut arogant loser teachers... and many military folk also fall under that catagory there too...

if we are talking only pysical attraction.. then a GI would be the better choice.. sure they in a whole would be more in shape and have firmer bodies.. not to mention young,,,

but have you seen the amout of over weight white woman in korea??
they dont want a over weight teacher.. so a gi is a good score for them.

also most teachers will shagg the local talent. becuase its a better score for them.. FAT, OLD, BALD, POMPUS.. you will still find a 24 year slim korean girl to shagg,, gotta love korea..
where all foriegners get young firm ass.. hahaahha

K girls, gi's perfect for over weight teachers..

I maintain, so? How is it my responsibility?

I have not now, never have been nor ever will be one of the primary "apologists" for Korea and Koreans. Being married to a Korean man doesn't make me blind to the faults of Korean people in general. It does however make me more prone to respond to the unjustified racist rants that the real trolls on this board often, more so of late, engage in. I will continue responding where appropriate. If because of that you want to write me off as seeing the world through Korea-colored glasses, do so. That's not the way it really is though.

What I am saying is that culture of abuse in this country is systemic. It is fostered by institutions and given tacit approval by the public. The weakest members of society are routinely abused in all countries but it is far more open in Korea. Saying that rates of spousal abuse (which is just one of the forms out there) are the same in Korea as they are in the West is ridiculous.

ESL teachers may have a university degree but that doesn't mean they're educated.

yeah but he pointed out that even fat old dudes can get lucky with foxy K girls, whereas it's a bit of a different story for the plump white girls.

Would you like to point out exactly where Corporal said that they are the same? Or are you just engaging in some more creative rewriting of history?
