ok you are teaching away in a high school or university setting and the girl across from you keeps crossing her legs with this short skirt on. Wanting to maintain your professional momentum, you look away and try to look around the class without looking in the direction of the girl.

I have encountered this a few times. Once a girl was sitting qauite unladylike and another girl gave her her sweater to drape over her legs. I honestly think their innocence betrays them. What I mean is that I do not think they are that conscious of it.

Once a I this girl who the other girl helped by giving her a sweater to cover herself with. This girl always sat in front of me and always was "quite open about things", so I remedied the situation by permanently changing the seating arrangement.

This situation must confront every teacher and we all had to find our own way to deal with it. Perhaps it is a no-brainer, or perhaps I am being a bit voyeuristic, but I would like to know how you dealt with it.

I wish to be trustworthy in my profession and above reproach.

Then there are those students who use it to distract the foreign teacher and thus get less work to do.

I've got this one high school girl who took to wearing low cut tops and leaning forward to answer questions hoping to distract me enough not to realise her answers were wrong.

Tried talking with my co-teacher about it, but got no where. So I just made a few aside remarks about her being uncultured with her clothes and it stopped. That seems to work best, mentioning that they are uncultured and look "loose" (in a diplomatic and off-hand way).

I'm 30 years old. Way past thinking of little high schoolers in a sexual way.

My girls all wear uniforms and look like middle-school kids to me, even though they are high school. No make-up, accessories or nail polish allowed. Some will try a little, and sometimes get away with it. Some of the korean teachers will pull them aside and rip them a new one for wearing anything like that, though.

I've come to think uniforms are a good thing to have in schools. It pretty much does away with a lot of the overly-expensive fashion garbage and showing off. At least in school, it does.

Maybe the girls in question are part of a "Gay or Stud" research project being conducted by, well, let's just say a regular poster at this site.

Come on now Mr. Kwangjuchicken. There is no need to refer to yourself in the third person. That's been done to death.

I had one young lady who seemed to get off on flashing me her underwear so I set my trap and waited.

One day when she was spreading I snapped a picture of her doing it. Twisted Evil Laughing

I took her aside, showed her the picture and told her if she didnt learn to sit properly I would print it off and post it on the board in front of the class.

PROBLEM SOLVED Laughing She was perfectly behaved after that.

Sorry Exclamation I deleted the picture so I cant post it here Wink

At least here the students are still under the school's thumb & are pretty conservative.

Believe you me, try teaching at a sr. HS in Japan where some of them dress & act like raving sluts and they'll turn the male barbarian into a bowl of jello, be he 20 or 50....

Ahhh, I win.

Had a student today (19 year old from the Ivory Coast) pull a Sharon Stone on me today. I think I will be scarred for life! Shocked

I tried not to pull a double-take....

After class, I told her that she ought to wear underwear when wearing a short skirt. Rolling Eyes Not sure it sunk in, and I wasn't about to ask if she did it on purpose.

!Shoosh
