You'll go right off those lifeguards when you see them shuffling out through the knee-deep water in their inner-tubes, blowing their little whistles in a lame attempt to rescue you.
Then when you see 2 other lifeguards rescuing the first one you'll wish you'd never bothered!

Tell that to the little, albeit a bit hefty, student of mine who threw me on his back and carried me up three flights of stairs, quickly and effortlessly, when I broke my foot. I am not a little Korean woman either- I'm a tall and big boned western woman. |

My Korean friend worked as a lifeguard. I mentioned this thread, and he laughed. I asked him what makes Korean male lifeguards so sexy. Do you know what he said?
"We are sexy and have low body fat because the only meat we eat is Boshingtawn."
I guess it's a Korean lifeguard thing?
Oh well... go get 'em, girls! |

lifeguards at the beach? not here in Jeju-do. I was out at a beach this past week and the lifeguards were blowing their whistles like crazy at me because I was out too far and the water was 'too deep' (that's all they could say in English apparently. The funny thing is I was still standing upright and the water was just barely above my waist!
So I go out for a swim even farther and they're blowing the whistles even harder and more often. I'm just laughing b/c they obviously couldn't swim out to get me if they wanted to! I come back in and they're yelling at my girlfriend and she's telling me they say it's too dangerous to swim out any farther than we were (back at waist-deep water). I just laughed and said "it's not dangerous if you know how to swim" and went back out. And I never even went far enough out to where I couldn't touch the bottom.
Oh well.

Ever consider that there might have been an undertow that they couldn't tell you about? Besides since when did job skills matter when considering eye candy? |

That must be the only time "too deep" has ever been associated with korean men.

Not referring to strength, more the lack of swimming ability.
My friend has rescued a lifeguard (on Jeju-do).
My husband was ordered to go in from waist-deep water (Daechon beach), no current, but because the lifeguard couldn't have swum out there to rescue people if they had followed. (and they DO follow!)
I will admit that swimming ability has nothing to do with eye-candiness though, and where ARE the pictures? |
