How do I get a TMoney card? Where do I buy them?
Who ever made the ingenious decision to NOT SELL transportation cards at the subway stations or bus terminals???
I don't know why somone doesn't just put some machines in right next to the single use ticket machines and have these TMoney cards dispensed the same way. |

You can buy a t-money card from a subway ticket guy. Just wave 12,000 won in the guy's face and ask for a "t-money cah duh joo seh yo" and nod like a fool. The card cost 1,500 up front and takes a 10 spot in stored value.
It will be nice when they develop a machine to sell/recharge the cards. |

Some non-Seoul stations didn't sell or recharge them, such as in Bundang.
This may be changing, though... thought I saw a charging machine behind the window today, but had already bought a ticket because my T-money card was out. |

| I've spent a fair amount of time in France where they use pretty much the exact same system for most of their public transportation and where they too are not known for their planning/organisation skills. Therefore, it comes as no surprise to me that this sytem does not work. In France, they too have problems like this every other day with their public transportation systems. |

France: airport terminals collapse.
Korea: Bridges and department stores collapse. |

| every subway station will recharge them, you just can't buy them there. ( Korean logic- I'm sure there's a reason, but I'm also sure that I'll never understand it) |
