LASt time I ever get the subway from Yonsan to Noksapyoung. Four stops took forever and had to change twice.
Anyone know a bus that goes from Haebanchon to Yonsan?
Took the subway from Noksapyoung to Gangnam today. Took 50mins. Caught the bus back - took 15mins AND I get scenery as an added bonus - get to look out for things I might want to head back and check out later.
I'm fast coming to the conclusion that Seoul's subway is one of the slowest I've ever been on. |

| All of Line 2, but I don't think Nampo dong is that bad. I love Line 6. |

Is that where you've been holed up for the last 4 months? Youngdeungpo chihachol-yok? Did the rats out the back drag you into their hole, or did you slip on some homeless bloke's cardboard after 10pm at night on the overwalk and spend that time in hospital? They have a saying out the back of the eastern gate at that station.
"The darkness is your friend." |

Worst ever: most of the stations in NYC are pretty nasty. Rats, garbage, and "where does all that water come from?"
As for Korea, I have to agree the Chungjeungno is the worst of all transfer stations. I think that people aren't mentioning that one because most people dont take that one. I tried it once, and never again.
The best transfer station is Bokchong between line 8 and the Bundang line. Just up or down a flight of stairs, and you're there.
A lot of people have mentioned that they hate Kangnam. I actually love that station (although an escalator or two would be nice), but I can understand the positions of some of the clausterphobics.
As for the sandwiches, the meatball sub has always been my favorite.
By the way, it is hella awesome that the BART goes all the way to San Francisco Airport now. It make transfers from SFO to Oakland Airport much more convenient. |
