So, my teeth have annoyed me for a long time, so I've been thinking about getting braces. Has anyone gotten braces here? What's the cost like (say in comparison to the US)? How was it working with a Korean doctor?

my last girlfriend got braces here.

she said it cost about 2000 canadian i think.

her teeth were MESSED UP (she's british) and now they're fine. i think she had nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience.

A chick with braces was hitting on me at a bar the other night. I didn't enjoy that.

2000!! thats a bargain. Mine cost 10,000 when I had them done in canada. I also had my jaw broken and wired shut for six weeks.

My girly has had nothing but praise for korean dentist and as far as I knw most of them are orthodentists (sp. brace guys) too.

One of my students got braces this week, and he said that regular braceds cost 3400000W, and for the clear attachments- the one that you can't see as much the cost was 4300000W.

I got ceramic braces on my top set of teeth, and paid 2 million. With an extra 50,000 per check up.
Speaking Korean I had no real problems with the orth., most people in the medical field speak basic english here. But you'd definately want to find a good english speaker first.
