I'm sure everyone is aware of the controversy about the east sea vs sea of Japan but have you ever thought that Korea may be in the wrong continent.
From Map Zones comes a rather egregous error.

Is spelling egregious incorrectly also an egregious error? Sorry, always wanted to use that word in a sentence. |

Where is VANK?
VANK is the Voluntary Agency Network of Korea.
VANK is The Civil Project Team for Korea Image Promotion Turning Korea into hub of Asia, and Changing Korean into friendly people who are loved by all people around the world sharing dreams and friendship with the rest of the world.

Why don't you be a Friend of Korea?
Now, we are also launching this "Friends of Korea Club," a worldwide promotion to attract the visits of people from all over the world, letting them know about Korea's dynamic charm.

"Korea's dynamic charm" for foreigners?
Foreigners Experience Difficulties in Living in Korea
Overall living conditions, including education, housing, medical care, transportation, immigration, and access to the Internet are pointed to as inconveniences. Not only inconveniences caused by different systems and customs in Korea, but also special discriminating practices, such as the practice of submitting two years of monthly rent in advance like a deposit, which is required of foreigners just because they are foreigners, are ubiquitous. "Even though Korea has achieved some degree of globalization in going abroad, it has still a long way to go for globalization in embracing foreigners inward," said foreigners residing in Korea.
An official in the International Cooperation Division of Seoul City admitted, "The same complaints regarding visas, transportation, education, and environment are raised every year without being solved, due to the lack of cooperation from government agencies involved and their passive attitudes."

The site was probably flooded with email from irate VANKers.
Or maybe it was just an honest mistake that was corrected in a timely manner.
