| The contracts here are one sided. If they screw you over they mean nothing. If you do something wrong, they wave the contract in you face. |

Yes, run away screaming. Seriously, if nothing else this contract is TOO DETAILED. The only purpose of getting a contract is that your employer can't get a work visa for you without a signed contract between the two of you. And in many ways the relationship with your boss is much more important than the contract. The last three contracts I've had have all been slightly less than one page long.
Also watch out for schools that tell you that they are trying to decide between you and another teacher, 'so you'd better hurry up and sign the contract or you'll lose this WONDERFUL opportunity'. That is the single most overplayed line in Korea, everyone teaching here has heard it once. |

Training! haha, I got training too.
Manager: "You're an experienced teacher so I'm sure you know what to do"
Me: "but I've never taught before"
Manager: "you'll do fine"
Anyway, you should post your recruters name. Some of them are just evil (even if they seem sweet). |
