I'm sorry if this question is answered elsewhere, I looked around but couldn't find it.

Anyways, I was wondering if there is any difference between Korean AC and North American. Mainly I'm wondering if my laptop etc. will be fine or if I'll need some sort of adapter(or?) like when you go to Europe?

Your laptop will need a little plug adapter- the kind with two big round prongs, and you can buy them fairly easy where ever you buy suitcases at home, or get one here.

Other electronics like a hair dryer, alarm clock etc, you'd need to buy a current converter or trans in Konglish. They're not that big, but heavy- much better to buy one here, or just buy new stuff when you get here.

If you're really concerned about it, go to Radioshack and buy a travel adapter for France (220 V)... the voltage and the prongs are the same there as in Korea and perfectly interchangable.
