Posco's Trumpet, Beaver, and Urban Myth obviously have trouble reading... they thought the original poster was asking them to be unfriendly, sarcastic, and just plain rude.
I agree with the other posters who think YOU have trouble reading...The OP asked a yes or no question. Some people answered yes and some people answered no. As for unfriendly, sarcastic and just plain rude, those attributes are clear in every post you have made on this thread. Not to mention just plain ignorance. IT WAS A JOKE!

Don't know much about grammar, do you? does Posco's = Posco?

I know it might be too much to expect the civility I offered you (by asking how you would like to be addressed), but a bit of thought might leave you looking a bit ... better educated?

You're asking for quite a lot considering your own snotty attitude are you? Biyotch!

This thread was intended to be entirely positive and focussed on helping people who want to meet or talk with another ESLer have a means to introduce themselves as open and inviting such.

The trash talk and flippant denials add little.

At least this thread will be helpful for some.

Posco's Trumpet,

Here

missing referent

I thought that you looked condescending and petty.
But since you have done it yet again (looking petty that is) you have made that clear.

gerund misuse

Don't call yourself civil, when clearly you are not attempting to be so.

comma use/adverbial clause

I am also amazed that you have the ability to judge my education based on two posts and my improper use of your name. (Intentional BTW)

missing comma between clauses
misplaced parenthetical (did you intend it to lead the sentence after this one?)

That is amazing... and quite pathetic that you have resorted to slandering someones education on a completely ludicrous basis.

interesting use of ellipsis
missing apostrophe
logical consistency (Evidently, the basis is not ludicrous.)

I'm in Osan, where there seems to be nobody but filth and fat korean chicks with bad teeth. I wanna go have a beer with another foreigner. None of the koreans I know here drink or have any fun whatsoever. They have dedicated their lives to the lord. That's so ten years ago.

(there. the people who wanted this thread to lead to get-togethers from people who want to can know that aside from the bickering, there is some positive effects!)

There ARE no other ESLer's in my area...and that's the way I like it

As for the weekend I'm doing something, but other ESLers are definitely not invited.

Thanks for sharing.

What a pathetic way to bump up a thread in a pathetic attempt to start a flame war.

You're not invited either.
